Our projects
Mill Valley - Strawberry
Metal was a central design element in the remodel of this waterfront home.
We installed structural steel beams throughout the interior to support the open-concept layout. Our team fabricated railings for all six decks, along with handrails leading down to Richardson Bay. We built the structural framework for a floating interior staircase, a cantilevered countertop, and a modern fireplace. In addition, we created a custom metal fascia that visually tied the floor-to-ceiling windows to the railings, unifying the space. To complete the project, we designed and installed metal shelving in the wine cellar, giving the home a truly one-of-a-kind finish.
San Anselmo
This project gave us the opportunity to contribute custom metalwork throughout various parts of the home.
We began by fabricating a sleek metal guardrail, which was beautifully capped with old-growth Douglas Fir to blend warmth with industrial strength. Next, we crafted a custom rectangular tubing handrail featuring a unique square return—adding a subtle but distinctive detail to the staircase.
For the addition above the garage, we designed and installed two Juliet balconies that enhanced both the architectural interest and functionality of the space. One of the most unique aspects of this project was the modification of an 18th-century teak door, which we carefully adapted to serve as a striking focal point at the home’s main entry.
Muir Beach
For this project, we relocated the exterior stairs to improve both safety and accessibility at the front of the home.
The new layout offers a more natural and secure approach to the entryway, enhancing both functionality and curb appeal. To complement the modern aesthetic of the home, we fabricated the railing system using clean square tubing paired with a rectangular top rail. This combination created a streamlined, cohesive look from the bottom landing to the upper level. The result is a visually striking and structurally sound staircase that blends form and function seamlessly.
